ACTT provides a home for students, practitioners, directors and other artists from Australia and overseas who are exploring what it is that makes great actors and great performances. Over the years, the ACTT team has developed and accumulated a body of knowledge and expertise that is unique on the Australian landscape. The quality of the courses, the exceptional teaching methodologies, and the impressive achievements of the graduates are extraordinary.
ACTT is a fully independent organisation in the forefront of its field; we survive on reputation and quality and attract passionate artists at the peak of their abilities to work with you. Everyone who works, teaches and studies here belong to the ACTT community of creative thinkers, dreamers and explorers where passions are ignited, new ideas and works are created and emerging artists launch their careers.
To further the opportunities that this exciting and talented gathering of professionals offer, ACTT took up the reins of running one of Sydney’s most adventurous theatre and studio complexes in 2007 that is now known as the Cleveland St Theatre to forge even more links and stage high calibre, new works.
