MAIN CAMPUS
505 PITT ST SYDNEY
Formerly the school hall for Christ Church St Laurence, and later an integral part of the St Laurence Arts Centre. With its exposed brick walls, timber floor, stained glass windows and cathedral ceiling, the Main Hall on the top level, has been adapted for use as a flexible performance space. Acoustic ceiling baffles focus the spoken voice by reducing reverberation. Special curtaining enables total blackout during performances. Theatre lighting and sound systems are installed and operated by our technical production students for ACTT productions and other events such as graduations and theatre industry forums. A variety of performance and event modes are possible in the Main Hall, with seating capacity between 75 and 200. Adjacent to the Main Hall, on the Upper Level, are storage rooms for props, staging and costumes.
REHEARSAL/CLASS SPACES
The lower level comprises 4 studios/classrooms: – Studios 1, 2 and 6 are general purpose studios – Studio 4 is a special purpose filming studio, including AV equipment. Each of the general purpose studios includes an upright rehearsal piano; Studio 6 also includes mirrors.

ADMINISTRATION
The Administration office, located on the lower level is the main reception area for the College, and provides assistance to:
• Get information on courses
• Add or update your contact details
• Apply for courses and auditions
• Make payments
• Book rooms
• Purchase tickets to Productions
• RSVP to an invitation
• Enquire about welfare or other student assistance
Noticeboards outside the Admin Office provide up-to-date information for students and visitors about classes, special seminars, work opportunities, auditions, film-makers, contacts and discount theatre tickets.
STUDENT AND STAFF AMENITIES
Adjacent to the Admin office, the common room incorporates a fully equipped kitchen for the use of students and staff. This is used also as a social and relaxation area as well as the outside courtyard, which is also used for regular student social and BBQ activities.CLEVELAND STREET THEATRE CAMPUS

Since 1982 The Old ‘Railway Union Hall’ at 199 Cleveland Street has seen the development of some cutting edge artistic endeavors under the auspices of The Performance Space. Now this magnificent theatre has a new vision for the future development of fringe theatre, in the expert hands of ACTT’s artistic team. With its ideal location, leafy courtyard & bar, this venue accommodates functions of all kinds for ACTT and other groups.ACTT STUDENTS AT CLEVELAND
Students at ACTT have the unique opportunity to utilise the professional theatre through graduate productions in both the professional acting program and music theatre. Technical Production students also work on these productions as well as others held in the space.
THEATRE BOOKINGS
The theatre is also available for hire and with its proscenium stage and extensive open floor space the theatre can be arranged in many configurations, providing either an intimate theatre or a larger space to 140 seats. The theatre has fixed raked seating that can be supplemented by additional loose seating if required. The theatre is fully licensed and full bar facilities can be utilised on request.
STUDIO AND GALLERY BOOKINGS
There are three large and four small studios that are available for hire. An additional four studios and large hall are also available for hire at the Pitt St campus.
